A draft of a new strategic plan, to reduce the number of homeless people in Santa Cruz County, has been released. The county’s goal is to reduce the number of un-sheltered residents by at least 50 percent by adding 160 beds, creating rapid re-housing, and adding 100 units of permanent supportive housing.
