New Strain Of HIV Detected 11/06/19B 17:48 S.S.

For  the  first  time  in  nearly  2  decades,   a  new  strain  of  H.I.V.  has  been  detected  by  scientists.    The  findings  of  the  research  were  published  today  in  the  Journal  Of  Acquired  Immune  Deficiency  Syndrome.    The  director of the  National  Institute  Of  Allergy  And  Infectious  Diseases,  said  current  treatments for  H.I.V.  are  effective  against  this  strain,  and others.    That said,  identifying  a  new  strain provides  a  more  complete  map  of  how  H.I.V. evolves.   According  to  the  World  Health  Organization about  36.7 million  people  in  the  world  are living  with  H.I.V…and  hundreds  of  thousands  of  people  get  diagnosed  with  it  each  year.
