An open house for a business geared at helping local non-profits is planned for tomorrow in Aptos. The doors to the new building of Leaders of the Community Foundation Santa Cruz County officially opened yesterday at it’s new location on Soquel Drive. The new 9,200 square-foot complex, which is the home for local philanthropy and a resource for nonprofits, is named afterJack and Peggy Baskin, who found the property and provided 1 million dollars to the foundation to purchase it. Open house for the new Jack and Peggy Baskin Center for Philanthropy takes place tomorrow from 2 to 6 p.m. at 7807 Soquel Drive in Aptos.
