The Scotts Valley Police Department has a new member. Odin is a 17 month-old Sable Shepherd from the Czech Republic. Odin and his handler, Officer Jared Johnson, are expected to start patrolling together in the Fall….after Odin is trained in narcotics detection, tracking, handler protection and suspect apprehension.
