Developers say they have submitted plans to the city of Pacific Grove to build a hotel where the American Tin Cannery (and several other adjacent warehouses and commercial spaces) exist today. The 243-thousand square foot hotel would have 2 entrances….1 for executives, which would lead to their high end executive rooms; and the other would lead to family guest rooms. Overall, the hotel (as currently planned) would have 225 rooms, a ballroom, a rooftop bar, 2 pools, and 304 underground parking spaces. The current businesses in the American Tin Cannery have been given 1 year to move their businesses out of the Tin Cannery.
