A nonprofit that feeds and cares for homeless women in Monterey now has its own home. Gathering for Women found a home at 147 El Dorado Street in Monterey in a space that is 2,000 square feet. The new location features a commercial kitchen, a dining hall and shower services. While the facility is already open, organizers are set to host a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday. For information, visit GatheringForWomen.org.
