The city of Santa Cruz has a new finance director. Kim Krause will take over as chief of the finance department. She has over 30-years experience serving municipal governments… most recently in Orange County.
Krause takes over during a difficult time. Santa Cruz went from having a budget surplus to now, a more than 10-million dollar deficit
She will be making almost 200-thousand dollars a year.
