The El Gabilan library opened on Saturday in north Salinas.
The new facility is 21-thousand square feet, is two stories tall, and was completed at the cost of 20 million dollars.
Aside from the array of books, the El Gabilan Library features community rooms, free internet access, plus a maker space lab with a laser cutter and 3D printer.
Hundreds of attendees were present at the grand opening and are delighted to have a library that is jam-packed with resources.
The new library is open 7 days a week and is located off North Main Street in Salinas.
