The city of Seaside is asking for local input on a new development of what is being calling Campus Town. This parcel of land was received through a Purchase and Sale agreement with the KB Bakewell Development Partnership to develop the 85 acres on the former Fort Ord Army Base last December. This development is near the CSUMB campus, and will be transformed into a multi use facility. This week the city will be hosting a series of community meetings at the Soper Field Center in Seaside where people are welcome to drop in and share their ideas. Development for this will likely be done in July 2019 and building will begin soon after. For more information visit ci.seaside.ca.us
