New charges have been filed against the owner of the bookdale inn and spa. As a result, the trial for sanjiv kakkar has been delayed. he was already facing 2-counts of insurance fraud, and other charges. Now, kakkar is facing additional charges of insurance fraud, (this time for providing false information in order to obtain lower premiums). He is set to be arraigned on the new charges on april 3rd.
