A new app has been launched that aims to expand access to California parks. CaliParks, developed by Stamen Design, allows users to browse databases in order to find the nearest hike, swim, sanctuary or recreational area. The app will also serve as a social platform, where park visitors can share photos and commentary. CaliParks, launched with the support of the Parks Forward Commission, is aiming to push park management into the digital age. The app can be found at CaliParks.org .
