In business news… Los Gatos based Netflix gained a slough of new subscribers during the corona virus pandemic. The streaming service added over 10-million worldwide subscribers during the April thru June period… that’s more than triple the usual new subscribers.
The expansion helped Netflix earn 720-million dollars on revenue of over 6-billion during the second quarter.
Hollywood film-making has been on hiatus since the corona virus broke out…Netflix said thursday tho that it is slowly resuming production, mostly in Asia and Europe, and its 2020 lineup remains intact.
