Local residents are being encouraged to join the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz in celebrating National Volunteer Week April 15th-21st. On April 11th the Volunteer Center was awarded the 2018 California non-profit of the year for volunteerism and service. Santa Cruz County volunteers are part of a national movement of more than 62 million individuals who annually volunteer in their local communities.
