A portion of Highway 128, in Napa county, is closed, and evacuations have taken place, due to the 55-acre Canyon Fire, that broke out yesterday. The 60 percent contained brush fire is burning about 16 miles east of Saint Helena, and just south of Lake Berryessa. The evacuations are on the south side of Highway 128, on Wragg Canyon Road. The highway is closed between Markley Cove and Wragg Canyon Road.
The updates on the 2 wildfires, that broke out Sunday are: the Tejon Fire in Kern county burned 208 acres by last night and was 80 percent contained, while the Valley Fire in Mariposa county burned 149 acres and was 100 percent contained.
