Cal-Trans crews, and local residents, continue to work to clear the only east-west Highway, that connects Highways 1 and 101 in the Big Sur region. They now say they have cleared enough of Nacimiento-Fergusson Road to make it navigable in some vehicles, for emergency purposes….but there is still a lot more work to be done to completely clear debris, and fix wash-outs, caused by the recent storms.
