Mutilated Animals Dumped in Salinas Riverbed 12-04-18 16:40 DC

The Humane Farming Association is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of whoever is responsible for the mutilation and killing of animals found in the Salinas riverbed.

HFA spokeswoman Gail Eisnitz (ICE-NITZ) told KSCO News that an HFA volunteer obtained public records detailing the multiple mutilated dogs, goats, and chickens that have been dumped since at least 2016. The most recent dumping of animals took place last month. Anyone with information about the animal dumping should contact the Humane Farming Association at montereycountyanimaltips@hfa.org.

The volunteer who investigated this case will be a guest this Sunday on KSCO Pet Radio program following the Noon newscast.
