Authorities in watsonville are investigating a shooting incident wednesday night, as a possible murder/suicide. Watsonville police officers responded to a house on Lawrence avenue, after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance at 5:40 p.m. an officer made contact with a man, later identified as 36-year-old aaron hull, who then shot at the officer. the officer retreated, and a santa cruz county sheriff’s SWAT team was called- in. after a standoff lasting several hours, members of the SWAT team entered the residence, and discovered hull’s body, along with the body of his father, 62-year-old stephen hull. both were found with gunshot wounds. No officers were injured in the incident; investigators are trying to determine exactly what happened in the house.
