The murder trial for a 43-year-old santa cruz county man has again been delayed. Richard chavez was scheduled to go to trial august 20th, however scheduling conflicts for his attorney forced the trail to be postponed to October 1st. chavez is accused of bludgeoning to death 37-year-old Deanna Dudley in 2010, at the felton residence that the-2 shared.
