A jury trial began this week for a Seaside man accused of killing his wife 2 years ago. The trial for 62-year old Dan Mark Gibson, a former employee of the Correctional Training Facility in Soledad, got underway Monday, and is expected to last about 2 weeks. Police say the body of 53-year old Maria Christina Gibson was found on October 31st of 2008 inside the couple’s apartment on the 1,000 block of Highland Street. Gibson faces 25-years-to-life-in-prison if convicted of murder.
