Authorities in Hollister are investigating multiple shootings in the city, following a violent weekend. 2-separate shootings were reported on Friday. Nobody was injured in either incident, and no suspects were located. On Saturday, police responded to multiple separate shootings. Someone had fired into a house on the 6-hundred block of powell street overnight. Later that day, a resident reported that her home on prune street had also been shot at. And, a resident on Hawkins street reported finding a bullet hole in his vehicle. At 7 p.m. Saturday, officers again responded to prune street after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. 21-year-old edgar lopez, 20-year-old omar weiss, and 25-year-old Eduardo cadena were arrested for resisting arrest. Investigators are trying to determine if they area responsible for the shootings. Shortly after their arrest, Hollister police officers arrested 18-year-old alfonso Contreras and 26-year-old Michael cortez. They area also suspected of being involved in the shootings.
