mugger thwarted w/poop 12/23/11 1600 e.a.
a mugger in santa cruz today is in some serious doo-doo. an unknown man approached a woman who was walking her dog on dakota avenue around 10 a.m. he demanded she give him everything she had, or else he would kick her dog. the woman handed the suspect a bag and he fled. little did he know, the bag actually contained her dog’s feces. the suspect is described as a white male, about 18 years old, 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds. anyone with any information on this attempted mugging is asked to call the anonymous crime tip line for the santa cruz police department, at 420-5995 .
