A number of people turned out for yesterday’s meeting about the feasibility of the public taking control of Cal-Am Water. Many believe doing so would decrease water costs on the Monterey Peninsula, while a spokesperson for Cal-Am says that isn’t the case, and anyway, the water company is not for sale.
