A new state-of-the-art recycling facility is slated to open in Marina soon. The 2nd version, of the publicly-owned Materials Recovery Center, is located about 2 miles north of Marina, and construction and demolition materials, as well as curbside recyclables and food waste from restaurants, can be handled at the facility.
