Teachers, who work in the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District, are being given 2 options…..continue to teach from home (as they did last spring)…..or teach from their otherwise-empty classroom. Teachers choosing to teach their on-line lessons from their classroom will also be able to bring their children to on-site childcare at several schools. The care for children in kindergarten through 8th grade classes will keep the students as socially distanced as possible, and assistance will be provided for those students who are attending school on-line from each childcare area.
