The Monterey Peninsula Unified School District is one of just 18 districts in the state to be named one of the nation’s Best Communities For Music Education. The designation came from the National Association Of Music Merchants. This award program recognizes efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education a consistent part of the students’ education.
