Although it’s been closed to the public for nearly 60 years, there’s a place in the Santa Cruz Mountains that will be re-opening to the public in September. A grand opening celebration is slated to be held September 16th and 17th at the summit of Mount Umunhum. The grand opening weekend is scheduled to include a variety of events.
