A motorcyclist was hospitalized after sustaining major injuries in Salinas on Saturday. The accident happened at about 4 p.m., at the intersection of north main and casentini streets. The motorcyclist and a sedan collided, leaving the cyclist with serious injuries. The victim was taken to Natividad Medical Center. None of the occupants of the sedan were reported injured.
