THE 29th ANNUAL MOTHER’S DAY RUN FOR SHELTER WILL HAVE PARTICIPANTS OF ALL AGES SPRINTING THROUGH RAMSAY PARK AND NEARBY SLOUGH TRAILS ON SUNDAY. THE RUN FEATURES A 1k KID’S FUN RUN AT 7:45 A-M, A 5k WALK AT 8, A 10k RUN AT 8:30 AND TYPICALLY RAISES 55 THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR THE PAJARO VALLEY SHELTER SERVICES. IT STARTS AT RAMSAY PARK AND RUNNERS WILL MAKE THEIR WAY THROUGH HARKINS SLOUGH ROAD TRAIL AND THEN BACK TO THE PARK. 250 RUNNERS HAVE REGISTERED SO FAR THIS YEAR AND HUNDREDS GENERALLY REGISTER ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT.
