A salinas mother gave birth on the side of espinosa road on Wednesday. Reina diaz and patricio Zaragoza were on their way to natividad medical center, but the morning traffic was blocking their way. After calling 9-1-1, diaz delivered the baby girl by herself. Firefighters arrived shortly after to assist the couple, and transport them to natividad. The couple’s daughter, Luz Milagros Zaragoza was delivered safely, and was determined to be healthy.
