A habitat-enhancement project has public access restricted at the Moss Landing Wildlife Area. The project at the land on the north side of Elkhorn Slough will involve building an observation platform, as well as performing maintenance on ponds. During the work, the Highway-1 parking lot will be closed, as will access to salt ponds and trails through seal bend. the restrictions are expected to last until December 20th.
