Human remains have been recovered from the Moss Landing area. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office was notified early Sunday. Deputies responded to an area near Sandholdt Road after a fishing boat found the remains in the water. At this time it is unknown how long the remains have been in the water. The identity and sex have yet to be determined.
