Along with the various ways the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District has been trying to provide internet service to their “distance learners”….they are hoping to now bring internet service directly to their students’ homes. To that end the District is working with internet provider Red Shift to try and set up devices on the student’s homes that will allow them to get the Wifi from the District school that is closest to them. So far the tower locations available are located at: Crumpton Elementary, Preston Park Apartments, Seaside Children’s Center, Seaside High School and the International School of Monterey. More information on this program can be found on the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District’s website.
