4 staff members, 2 high school teachers, and 2 former high school students at San Lorenzo Valley High School, are now being investigated due to allegations of sexual misconduct. Both the school district, and the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Department, are conducting those investigations. The superintendent of the school district has explained that to be fair they need to protect the confidentiality, privacy, and due process rights of the students and staff, so there is a lot of information the district cannot release to the public.
