In response to the recent violent attacks near the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, security has been tightened there. Easter weekend is known as the start of the “tourist season”, and with a fatal shooting and a double minor injury stabbing, security officers are working with Santa Cruz police officers to do their best to keep visitors safe.
