More vaccination clinics are expected to be opened in Monterey county. That’s because the county has received 20 percent more doses of the Covid-19 vaccine than in past weeks….and 5,000 of them are the new one-shot Johnson And Johnson vaccine.
A spokesperson for the County Health Department said it’s still important to get tested, in-part because it’s important to track the Covid-19 variants.
One of the easiest places to do that is the new drive-thru test location at the south end of the Northridge Mall in Salinas…..at the Madrid Street edge of the parking lot for the old Sears building. The testing company says that Covid-19 test results are generally being provided within 48 hours.
