In an effort to make electric cars more available to people, 2 organizations have launched the Monterey Bay Electric Vehicle Incentive Program (or E-VIP). Monterey Bay Community Power customers, who meet income qualifications, could receive $4500 off the cost of a variety of electric vehicles….and all customers could receive a $1,000 discount. All of that is an effort to make electric cars more accessible to tri-county residents.
