More delays in a Santa Cruz murder trial. In 2015, 15 year old Adrian “A.J” Gonzalez was arrested and charged with murdering 8-year-old Madyson “Maddy” Middleton. Due to legislation the case has been shuttled between juvenile and adult courts, due to changes in laws for juvenile offenders. Gonzales, now 20 years old, is still unclear which court will try him, and now proceedings have been delayed until October 15th due to covid19
