A Seaside police officer pleaded not guilty today to allegations of sexual assault after a 2nd amended complaint that includes child molestation, was filed. Officer Salvador Reynaga initially faced 16-counts of sexual assault after he was arrested in March. The complaint was amended after 3 more women came forward this past month. As of today, 6 more women came forward, including 2 under the age of 18. Reynaga now faces a total of 39 counts of committing assault while acting in an official position. He is slated to return to court on June 21st.
