The California Department of Parks and Recreation announced Thursday that a half-dozen state parks along Highway 1 are closing over the weekend until at least May 3rd.
The six local parks include:
- Andrew Molera State Park
- Garrapata State Park
- Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park
- Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park
- Point Lobos State Natural Reserve
- Point Sur State Historic Park
The closure will continue until at least May 3rd but could run longer as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.
