a water advisory at a monterey beach has been lifted. high levels of bacteria were found in the water at monterey municipal beach were found in samples on september 6th. follow up samples revealed that the water is now safe for recreational contact. state law requires ocean water at water contact sports areas and public beaches be monitored.
