The City of Monterey’s public works department has begun paving work on Alvarado Street. The paving is taking place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., this Tuesday and Wednesday, from Del Monte Avenue to Polk Street. The roadway will be closed, however businesses will be open for curbside pick-up.
