56-year-old James Sulentich has been named the general manager of the monterey peninsula regional park district. The pacific grove resident was appointed to the post yesterday, by the district’s 5-member board. Sulentich is set to take on his new duties in mid-february, and will start at an annual salary of 150-thousand dollars. The 250-thousand dollar salary of the park district’s previous manager had drawn scrutiny.
