A man went missing while diving off of San Carlos Beach on Saturday, and was later pronounced dead after being found. The victim had been diving off of the Monterey Beach with a partner, and went missing. His partner went for help, and a coordinated search effort was launched for the man, involving the Coast Guard and other rescuers. He was found after about a half-hour, but was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
