Monterey County Sherriff’s Deputies arrested a couple in Carmel early Sunday morning, after a vehicle search revealed several cloned credit cards. 35-year-old Otis Hickman and 24-year-old Jazzmin Hickman admitted to using the cloned cards to purchase over 500 dollars worth of merchandise that evening. Later in the day, a search warrant served on the Hickman’s Bay Point residence revealed a number of items consistent with the manufacturing of cloned credit cards. The Monterey County Sherriff’s Office estimates in excess of five hundred victims in the credit card fraud. The investigation was part of a collaboration with Contra Costa County Sherriff’s office and the U.S. Secret Service.
