Motorists are being advised of overnight road work taking place next week in Monterey County. Traffic on Highway 101, between Dunbarton Road and Cole Road, will shift to the other side of the Highway starting Monday January 20th due to work on the new San Juan Road interchange. The lane switch and road closure will occur between 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. through Tuesday January 21st. Access to and from San Juan Road at Highway 101 will also temporarily close. Motorists will need to take San Miguel Canyon Road as an alternate route. Both north and southbound traffic on Highway 1 will be affected during this time.
