Monterey County parks are planning on remaining open to the public for the Easter holiday.
This announcement was made by the Monterey County Parks, State Parks, Bureau of Land Management, and Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District.
Park rangers will monitor size of groups attending the public spaces and ensuring compliance with social distancing and group sizing.
Groups of 10 or more are not allowed, and individuals must be 6 feet apart from each other.
Meanwhile, two county supervisors express great opposition to this decision, and are planning to raise this subject at a supervisor meeting scheduled this week.
