A Monterey County man was arrested yesterday after allegedly stealing a firearm. Officials say the father of 25-year-old Joseph Martello Junior contacted deputies and reported that his son stole a gun from his home in Pebble Beach. Martello Junior was located in Seaside and was found in possession of stolen items and heroin. His father’s gun was found inside his hotel room in Monterey. Martello Junior was booked into county jail.
