A Seaside man who escaped Monterey County Jail last month is back in custody. 24-year-old Freddy G. Swanson was booked earlier last month on drug and gun charges and was waiting to be sentenced. He escaped a medium security dorm on Christmas Day. Swanson was located inside a business yesterday and was found in possession of methamphetamine and heroin. He was arrested without incident.
