A Monterey County Jail inmate has been hospitalized following an apparent suicide attempt early Thursday morning. Authorities say that a deputy found the unresponsive inmate at about 2 a-m. Deputies and medical staff performed c-p-r and other life saving techniques. The inmate was transported and admitted to Natividad Medical Center in unknown condition. The incident is under investigation.
