Educators in Monterey County are helping families stay warm this winter. The Monterey County Office of Education’s Migrant Education Program is hosting a blanket drive between now and December 18th.
Blankets can be dropped off at the Migrant Education Main Office, located at 901 Blanco Circle in Salinas.
Monterey schools began collecting blankets for migrant families last year because the families stop working about this time and extra items, such as blankets, can be hard for them to come by.
